Hi and welcome to my website barksandwalks.com! I’m a passionate dog lover and my goal is to help other fellow dog lovers to find the best information about dogs, dog walking and daily dog life in general.
in addition to posting articles of topics I’ve researched, I will also share my personal experiences to help dog owners out with their journey with their beloved furry friend.
Dogs, dogs, it’s all about dogs
Ever since I was a young girl I’ve loved being around dogs. My dad even used to call me “dog whisperer”! I love spending time with dogs and when I’m around these animals, I feel like I’m following my life’s purpose.
I’m the lucky owner of a young beaglier (beagle x cavalier) boy and he makes life so much fun. He can be a bit mischievous at times, but he’s also very soft-hearted and loves cuddles and sleeping on my lap. I spend a lot of time training him, playing with him and of course taking him for walks. As I’m sure many other dog owners do too.
I also look after dogs at an animal charity, which has given me a lot of exposure to different-sized and -shaped dogs. Through this volunteer work I’ve gained a lot of experience in handling different dog breeds and learned to deal with different dog personalities.
Too much information
As dog owners, we only want the very best for our furry friends. For example, when it comes to walking your dog, the correct equipment is necessary to make the walks as enjoyable as possible for both the dog and their human. However, searching for the best information can be overwhelming, as there are so many options available.
My aim is to have trustworthy information related to dogs collated in one place where it can easily be reviewed and compared.
Finding helpful tips
With my website I hope to help dog owners, especially new ones, find answers for their questions regarding dog-related topics such as dog walking, life with a puppy, dog behavior to name a few. I hope the information on my website will make life a little easier for dog owners leading to many happy barks and walks, for both humans and their four-legged friends.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
To many happy barks & walks,
